It's been a really nice week for ZocDoc, and it just got a little better! Microsoft has just announced the launch of Microsoft BizSpark, a program designed to help startups start up. BizSpark provides new companies with access to Microsoft tools and resources, with no upfront costs. And to help introduce the new program, Microsoft chose ZocDoc! They approached us, and gave our CTO, Nick Ganju, the opportunity to try Bizspark out early. Now he is going on the record about what a great program it is. Microsoft approached ZocDoc! We can still hardly believe it.

We're actually blushing. Out of 1500 companies, ZocDoc was chosen to be one of 20 Semi-finalists by Forbes.com in its Boost Your Business contest! We've made our 30-second video pitch, and hope to be among the top five Finalists in the fall. Donning bright orange scrubs, Cyrus talked about the company's mission to help patients easily find a doctor or dentist and make an appointment instantly online. Audience members gave ZocDoc a friendly reception and began Twittering instantly, calling ZocDoc "impressive," "the best" and "a great example of the mainstream web."
